Margaret "Katie" Brown: Owner and Certified Residential Appraiser

 Katie is committed to making a positive contribution to the community. She serves as Vice President of the PTSA at Heritage High School, takes an active leadership role on her church’s youth council, and manages her daughter’s soccer team through NCFC (North Carolina FC Youth). At church, Katie also oversees the annual silent auction, which this year benefits the Western North Carolina relief effort. She teaches Sunday school, bringing the same care and commitment to her classroom that she brings to every aspect of her life.

She's a member of the Women's Council of Realtors and was honored to speak at the recent Rebar Convention, sharing her expertise with fellow industry professionals.

Beyond residential appraisals and home measurement services, Katie is passionate about educating realtors and homeowners on the appraisal process. Her goal is to be the kind of appraiser who picks up the phone, provides clear guidance, and helps dispel the stereotypes often associated with the profession.

On a personal note, Katie’s life revolves around her husband, Jason—a devoted “Go Vols!” fan—and their three wonderful daughters. Their home is filled with energy, laughter, and love, and that strong foundation inspires Katie’s work both in the field and within her community.
