Margaret "Katie" Brown: Owner and Certified Residential Appraiser

Katie is a dedicated contributor to her community. She is Vice President of the PTSA at Heritage High School, spearheads projects on her church's youth council, and oversees her daughter's soccer team with NCFC (North Carolina FC Youth). KB Appraisal takes pride in supporting Addis Jemari, a local nonprofit aimed at aiding disadvantaged families in Ethiopia. Additionally, Katie is an active Women's Council of Realtors member and had the privilege of speaking at the recent Rebar Convention.

Beyond conducting property measurements and residential appraisals, Katie is committed to educating both realtors and the general public about the appraisal process. She aspires to be an appraiser who is always reachable by phone and dispels common stereotypes about appraisers.

On a personal note, Katie's life is enriched by her husband Jason, a passionate Go Vols! supporter, and their three wonderful daughters. Their family life is a source of immense joy and love, and it complements Katie's professional dedication and community involvement.
